加价 (jiā jià) — to raise or hike the price
Definition
加价 (jiā jià) means the seller actively raises a price — a deliberate hike, not a natural market rise. Pairs with the object 价 or a product (e.g. 牛奶加价); a price itself just 'goes up' uses 涨价.
