果然 (guǒ rán) — as expected; sure enough; indeed
Definition
果然 marks that something turned out exactly as predicted — 'sure enough / as expected'. Unlike 确实 or 的确 (which simply stress a fact is true), 果然 implies a prior expectation was fulfilled.
