认可 (rèn kě) — to recognize, to acknowledge, to approve

Definition

认可 means to officially or publicly approve and accept something as valid (a certificate, achievement, choice). Stronger and more formal than 同意 (mere agreement), and more about endorsing a thing's validity than 承认 (admitting a fact).
