Definition
万事俱备 is a four-character idiom (成语) meaning 'everything is ready; all preparations are complete.' It is most commonly paired with 只欠东风 ('only the east wind is lacking') from Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and the full saying is used when the only missing element is one crucial factor. As a set phrase, it functions as a predicate — you can say 万事俱备了 to mean 'everything's been prepared'. Note that the correct pronunciation is wàn shì jù bèi (the input pinyin 'mò' is a clerical error).
