不但 (bù dàn) means 'not only', used in paired patterns like 不但…而且… or 不但…还… to introduce a second added point. 不仅 (more formal/written) and 不光 (more colloquial) are similar at higher levels; 而且 is the partner word for 'but also', not a substitute.
