Definition
不免 means 'inevitably' or 'cannot help but' — it describes a natural, logical consequence that is hard to avoid given the situation. It is less forceful than 势必 (which implies objective, compelling inevitability) and more about reasoned outcome than the involuntary emotional reaction expressed by 不由得 (cannot help but). 不免 is not about future events like 早晚 (sooner or later).
