不孝 means 'unfilial' — failing to fulfill the duties of filial piety (孝 xiào), a core Confucian virtue in Chinese culture. It is a serious moral failing. In traditional obituaries, the writer would refer to themselves as 不孝 (unfilial son/daughter) as a humble self-reference.
