Definition
为人 (wéi rén) refers to how one conducts oneself and one's personal character — the moral quality of a person's behavior. It is more holistic and character-focused than 行为 (xíngwéi, specific actions) or 举止 (jǔzhǐ, outward mannerisms), and unlike 表现 (biǎoxiàn) it does not imply showing off or performing. It is often used in set phrases like 为人处世 (how one gets along in the world).
