Definition
乏力 (fá lì) means 'weak, lacking strength' and is used for both physical fatigue and a lack of ability to handle a task. It is more specific to feeling drained or not up to something than 弱 (ruò), which is a general word for 'weak' in body or quality. Compared to 无力 (wú lì), which emphasizes powerlessness or inability to act, 乏力 focuses on a subjective sense of exhaustion or inadequacy.
