Definition
A Chinese idiom based on the image of a frog living at the bottom of a well, thinking the well is the whole world. It describes someone with a narrow perspective who believes they know everything, due to limited experience. Used as a noun or predicate to criticize insular thinking, often in self-deprecation or as a warning.
