Definition
人气 (rén qì) means 'popularity, public appeal' — how much someone or something is liked or sought after by the public. It differs from 热度 (rè dù), which refers to temporary buzz or 'heat', and from 声望 (shēng wàng), which is formal prestige or reputation. 人缘儿 (rén yuán r) is more about personal likability in social circles.
