Definition
伺候 (cì hou) means to serve or attend to someone with care, often in a personal, subordinate role such as nursing a patient or serving a master. It is more intimate and hands-on than 服务 (fú wù, general service) and implies a hierarchical relationship, unlike 照顾 (zhào gù, to take care of).
