Definition
体质 (tǐ zhì) refers to a person's physical constitution — their internal health condition, resistance to illness, and overall fitness level, often discussed in TCM. Contrast with 体魄 (tǐ pò), which emphasizes external physical build and muscular strength. 体态 (tǐ tài) is about figure and posture, while 身躯 (shēn qū) just means 'the body' as a physical object.
