Definition
偷懒 (tōu lǎn) means to slack off or goof off, actively avoiding work or study. It differs from 懒得 (lǎn de), which is a temporary feeling of not wanting to do something, and from 松懈 (sōng xiè), which means to relax one's efforts after being diligent. 逃避 (táo bì) is broader (evading any situation), and 推卸 (tuī xiè) specifically shifts blame.
