Definition
出境 (chū jìng) means 'to leave a country' and is the opposite of 入境 (rù jìng, to enter). Unlike 过境 (guò jìng, to transit through), it implies crossing the border to depart. It is a separable verb (离合词), so the object can be inserted: 出了一次境.
