出门 (chū mén) means 'to go out (of the house)' or 'to leave home (for a trip)'. It specifically refers to leaving your home, unlike 出去 (chū qù), which can mean going out from any place (room, building, etc.). For going out for errands or a longer trip, 外出 (wài chū) is more formal.
