列表 is a separable verb (离合词) meaning 'to tabulate' or 'to list (items)'. The two syllables can split: you can insert measure words, numbers, or aspect markers between 列 and 表, e.g. 列一个表 ('make a list'), 列了几个表 ('made several lists'). You do not usually put the list contents directly after 列表; instead say 把数据列成表 ('list the data in a table') or 列表说明 ('tabulate to explain').
