Definition
厌恶 (yàn wù) expresses strong disgust or repulsion toward a person's actions, attitudes, or situations. It is more intense than 讨厌 (tǎo yàn 'dislike/annoy'), but less about personal resentment than 恨 (hèn 'hate') or 仇恨 (chóu hèn 'hatred'). Use it for moral or emotional revulsion rather than anger or grudges.
