可耻 (kě chǐ) describes an action or behavior as morally shameful or disgraceful. It focuses on the objective quality of the act, unlike 羞耻 (xiū chǐ) which can also describe the feeling of shame, and 羞愧 (xiū kuì) which is the personal feeling of being ashamed.
