Definition
叽叽喳喳 is an onomatopoeia that mimics the chirping and chattering of birds, or by extension the lively and incessant chatter of people talking in a group. It is often used with 地 as an adverb (叽叽喳喳地叫/说), or standalone as a predicate. The tone is light and lively, not negative.
