Definition
唾弃 (tuò qì) means 'to spurn' or 'to disdain' with a strong sense of moral disgust — you reject someone or something as contemptible. It's more intense and emotional than 抛弃 (discard) or 丢弃 (throw away), and more active than 鄙视 (look down on) or 轻蔑 (scorn). 嫌弃 (xián qì) is closer but focuses on finding someone/something annoying or beneath you; 唾弃 implies public condemnation.
