Definition
固执 (gùzhi) means 'stubborn, obstinate' and describes someone who refuses to change their opinion or behavior, with a clearly negative tone. It is similar to 顽固 (wángù), but 顽固 is even stronger and often implies a rigid, unyielding stance in beliefs or ideology. 执着 (zhízhuó) can be positive ('persistent') or negative ('stubbornly attached'), while 倔强 (juéjiàng) suggests a tough, unyielding personality that may be seen as admirable or frustrating.
