多嘴 is a separable verb (离合词) meaning 'to speak out of turn' or 'to say something you shouldn't.' It describes blurting out something inappropriate or unnecessary. When you add measure words, durations, or objects, the syllables split: e.g., 多了一次嘴 (blurted once). You can also use it as a fixed phrase 别多嘴 (don't butt in).
