Definition
大量 (dà liàng) is the general adjective for 'a large amount/number of' — used for quantities of things like food, employees, or resources. For large numbers of people or items arriving/leaving in groups, 大批 (dà pī) is more specific. 大量 also has a less common meaning 'generous, magnanimous' (in character), but for everyday generosity with money, use 大方 (dà fang).
