Definition
天启 (tiān qǐ) literally means 'heavenly opening' or 'revelation from heaven'. It is used for divine revelation, especially in religious contexts, and can refer to the Apocalypse and the end of the world. Historically, it was also the era name of the Ming dynasty's Tianqi Emperor (1621–1627).
