Definition
奇 (jī) is a classifier used for odd numbers in formal or mathematical contexts. It appears after a number, e.g. 三奇 (three odd numbers). In modern Mandarin the noun 奇数 (jīshù) is far more common; using 奇 alone as a classifier is a specialized or historical usage.
