Definition
奏效 (zòu xiào) means 'to produce the desired result' and is used for methods, strategies, or medicines that finally work after effort. It is more formal and result-focused than 有效 (yǒu xiào 'effective, valid'), which is a general adjective for something being effective. 见效 (jiàn xiào) is similar but more colloquial and often used for quick results, especially with medicine.
