Definition
委托 means to formally entrust or commission someone to handle a task or matter on your behalf, often in legal, business, or official contexts. It is more concrete and action-oriented than 信任 (to trust in someone's character), and unlike 赋予 (to bestow rights/power), 委托 always involves delegating a specific task to a person or institution.
