学历 (xué lì) refers to your formal educational background — the level of schooling you've completed (e.g., high school, bachelor's, PhD). It's different from 学位 (xué wèi 'academic degree'), which is the specific degree title (e.g., Bachelor of Arts), and from 简历 (jiǎn lì 'resume'), which is the document listing your work history and skills.
