Definition
宝藏 (bǎo zàng) refers to hidden or accumulated treasure, often of great quantity or value—literal mineral deposits or figurative cultural wealth. It differs from 宝 (bǎo) 'a single precious object', 宝库 (bǎo kù) 'treasure house' (the container, not the contents), and 矿藏 (kuàng cáng) which is strictly mineral resources. 宝藏 implies something concealed or to be discovered, while 瑰宝 (guī bǎo) is a singular rare gem or masterpiece.
