宣传 (xuānchuán) means to publicize or promote, often through organized campaigns or media, with the goal of spreading ideas, products, or policies. It is more deliberate and systematic than 传播 (chuánbō), which simply means to spread or disseminate. Unlike 推广 (tuīguǎng), which focuses on popularizing a specific product or method, 宣传 emphasizes shaping public perception.
