Definition
宽松 (kuān sōng) describes something that is not tight or strict — loose clothing, spacious rooms, or relaxed rules/atmosphere. It is broader than 宽敞 (kuānchang, only spacious) and less about physical comfort than 舒服/舒适 (shūfu/shūshì). For rules, 宽松 means 'lenient', while 宽容 (kuānróng) is about being tolerant toward people.
