Definition
山庄 (shān zhuāng) refers to a villa, resort, or estate built in a mountain setting, often with traditional architecture and natural scenery. It usually describes a single property (hotel, private residence, or historic site), not a whole village — unlike 'mountain village' which would be 山村 (shān cūn) in Chinese.
