Definition
庆贺 is a formal verb for congratulating someone on an achievement or celebrating a significant occasion, often in a public or group setting. It is more formal than 祝贺 (zhùhè, to congratulate) and 庆祝 (qìngzhù, to celebrate), and unlike 恭喜 (gōngxǐ, a greeting-like congratulation), 庆贺 is used in written or ceremonial contexts.
