Definition
强求 means 'to insist on or demand something from someone against their will' — it carries a negative tone of being unreasonable or pushy. Unlike 'extort' (which implies illegal coercion), 强求 is about imposing your wishes on others in everyday situations, often with a moral judgment that you shouldn't do it. It is a transitive verb that can take a person or a thing as its object, e.g. 强求别人 (to force someone) or 强求结果 (to force an outcome).
