归宿 (guī sù) emphasizes a final, often inevitable place where someone or something ends up — a sense of 'ultimate destination' or 'final home'. It is more abstract than 家园 (jiā yuán, emotional home/homeland) and 屋檐 (wū yán, figurative shelter-home), and carries a stronger flavour of destiny or conclusion than 结局 (jié jú, simple ending of a story/event).
