Definition
恳切 (kěn qiè) describes an earnest, sincere tone, especially in requests or appeals — it conveys urgency and heartfelt pleading. It differs from 诚恳 (chéng kěn), which is a broader 'honest and cordial' attitude, and from 真诚 (zhēn chéng), which means 'genuine, not fake' in character. 诚挚 (chéng zhì) is more formal and cordial, while 深切 (shēn qiè) emphasizes deep emotion.
