惬意 describes a feeling of pleasant comfort and relaxation, often from a nice environment or experience (e.g., a leisurely weekend). Unlike 满意 (satisfied with a result) or 乐意 (willing/happy to do something), 惬意 focuses on ease and contentment. 欣慰 (gratified and relieved) and 知足 (content with what one has) are more specific; 惬意 is broader, about a cozy, carefree state.
