Definition
愈加 (yù jiā) is a formal, literary adverb meaning 'even more, all the more', used primarily in written Chinese. It is similar in meaning to 更 (gèng) and 更加 (gèng jiā) but sounds more elevated and is less common in everyday speech. Compared to 日益 (rì yì), 愈加 does not carry the 'day by day' nuance of gradual increase.
