Definition
成行 (chéng xíng) means that a planned trip, visit, or event actually takes place or materializes. It's often used in the negative (未能成行) to say something didn't happen. Note: The same characters can also be pronounced chéng háng meaning 'to form a row', but that is a different word. The current entry is for chéng xíng, and as a verb-object (v.o.) it can be split into 成…行, as in 成不了行.
