战术 (zhàn shù) refers to specific, short-term tactics used to achieve an immediate goal in a battle, game, or competition. It is narrower than 策略 (cè lüè, a broader plan or strategy) and more concrete than 战略 (zhàn lüè, long-term, high-level strategy). 技巧 (jì qiǎo) focuses on skill or technique, not a planned maneuver.
