技术 (jì shù) is a broad term for technology, technique, or skill, especially in practical/industrial contexts. Contrast with 科技 (kē jì) 'science and technology' as a field; 技能 (jì néng) a learned ability; and 技巧 (jì qiǎo) a clever technique in arts/sports. 手法 (shǒu fǎ) is a method/technique in a specific field, often with an artistic nuance.
