Definition
揣摩 (chuǎi mó) means to try to figure out or fathom, often by careful speculation and pondering, especially about someone's thoughts or hidden meanings. It is more speculative and less systematic than 分析 (fēn xī 'analyze'), and more thoughtful and deliberate than 揣测 (chuǎi cè 'guess, conjecture').
