携手 (xié shǒu) is a formal, literary verb meaning 'to join hands' — both literally and figuratively for collaboration. It's more vivid and poetic than 合作 (hé zuò 'cooperate'), and implies a close, united effort. Unlike 勾结 (gōu jié), which has a negative connotation of collusion, 携手 is always positive.
