Definition
敬请 (jìng qǐng) is a very formal, written way to say 'please' or 'respectfully request' — it combines 敬 (respect) with 请 (request). It is more deferential than the everyday 请 (qǐng) and is used in formal invitations, notices, and announcements, not in casual speech. Unlike 拜托 (bài tuō), which is for personal favors or urgent pleas, 敬请 is polite and impersonal.
