日历 (rì lì) is the general term for a calendar — a physical sheet or book showing days, months, and years. In contrast, 农历 (nóng lì) and 阳历 (yáng lì) are calendar systems (lunar and Gregorian), not a physical calendar. 日期 (rì qī) means a specific date (e.g., "March 15").
