样式 (yàngshì) refers to the external design, pattern, or form of an object — the concrete 'style' you can see. It is less abstract than 风格 (fēnggé, artistic/personal style) and overlaps closely with 款式 (kuǎnshì, design/style); 款式 is often preferred for clothing or commercial products. 样子 (yàngzi) is more about the general appearance or look of something, not its design pattern.
