Definition
毫米 (háo mǐ) is a classifier for millimeter, a unit of length equal to 1/1000 of a meter. It is smaller than 厘米 (lí mǐ, centimeter, 1/100 meter) and should not be confused with 毫升 (háo shēng, milliliter), which measures volume, not length.
