Definition
气愤 (qì fèn) means 'indignant, furious' — a strong anger triggered by a perceived injustice or unfair treatment. It is less intense and more personal than 愤怒 (fèn nù), which is a broader, more forceful anger, and stronger than 恼火 (nǎo huǒ), which is annoyance or being riled up. 不平 (bù píng) also conveys indignation but emphasizes the feeling that something is unfair.
