Definition
浩 is a literary adjective meaning 'vast' or 'immense', often describing water bodies, the sky, or grand scale. In modern Chinese, it almost never stands alone — you use it in fixed two-character compounds such as 浩大 ('huge, vast'), 浩瀚 ('boundless, vast'), and 浩荡 ('mighty, torrential'). It carries a classical, elevated register; everyday speech would prefer 大, 很大, or 广大.
